Your swift flowing water
Elusive, quicksilver
Brushes past my shores
Licking
my roughing grains
burgeoning
a flash flood
Tributaries
cut into earth
New veins carry fresh lifeblood
Awakening me
from long slumber
longing rippling outward
concentric circles
lapping
by turns urgent
and languid
your ebb
begets my flow
See the colors of infant life
sprouting
hungry
brilliant resilience
inherited DNA
I’m not even going to attempt to determine who wrote what. It all meshed and blended fantastically.

YAY! Collaborations are the best! Iβm intrigued though, how you did this with a poem?

It was awesome. Christine had some stanzas jotted down, and invited her readers to add to them in the comments on her blog. She, Aurora and I just jive. It happened so naturally. And it was fun. π
