About the Author

Kindra M. Austin, former lunch lady and obscure internet radio show personality, is a dark fiction author and poet. Austin has one gothic horror novel (The Black Naught), one novella (The Killing Holiday), and five poetry collections (Constant Muses, TWELVE, All the Beginnings of Everything, Heavy Mental, and I Am a War) to her name.

She co-founded the feminist micro-press, Indie Blu(e) Publishing, in 2018. In her spare time, she is a LIVE reader and performer on @the.poetry.shitshow on Instagram with partner in crime, Rhiannon Marie. She is an advocate for mental health awareness, and a strong ally for the LGBTQ+ community.   Austin resides in the village of Chesaning, Michigan with her husband and their reformed feral cat. Her daughter, the source of all her inspiration, lives nearby. She loves old headstones, classic rock t-shirts from the eighties, and Norman Reedus.
